Write a dialogue between you and your younger brother on the importance of 'ICT' education in today's life.

Q: Suppose, you are talking with your younger brother who has got a new subject ICT in class VII. Now, write a dialogue between you and your younger brother on the importance of ‘ICT’ education in today’s life.

Answer.

Myself: Hello, Shamim! What are you up to?

Younger brother: Nothing much. I’m a bit worried.

Myself: Why? Is it about the new subject ICT?

Younger brother: Yes. But I don’t think it’s an important subject.

Myself: Well, you might not realize it now. But within a short period of time, you  would find out how important this subject is. Actually, the whole world is going through a transition in terms of the use of information technology. Bangladesh is also participating in this evolution.

Younger brother: But why?

Myself: You see, we are currently living in an information age? Almost everything surrounding our life and lifestyle are revolved around the ICT based platforms. So, we must learn how to cope up with such issues.

Younger brother:  Yes. But how is it relevant to Bangladesh?

Myself: You might have heard about the concept of ‘Digital Bangladesh’. Our    government and the policy makers are trying to ensure a better future by promoting an ICT based society. In order to do so, the future generation should know the basics of ICT.

Younger brother: So, that’s the reason our curriculum has the ICT subject!

Myself: That’s exactly what it is!

Younger brother: Well, now it does make sense. Besides, I think the sectors of agriculture, health, education, and commerce will also be highly benefited through ICT based society.

Myself: Now you understand! So, study the subject attentively.

Younger brother: Thank you so much, bhaiya! (Brother)
